Every day has a story

Today I didn't have much to do or any plans really. I needed to buy a few house bits and decided to look in a few fun shops too while I was out.
Surprisingly, as I didn't really intend to have a shopping day, today has been a day of bargains!
First stop: H&M. They had sale banners in the window. I was weak and was tempted in. I got this cute slogan vest for just £1 in the sale...

I love it, it's the same basic shape as another H&M vest I have from 2 summers ago which is my favourite shape ever for tops!

Inspired by being able to buy clothing for £1 I headed to primark next in the hopes that the bargains would continue. I love primark. I'm a little bit sad that nowadays there's less clothes on the floor and the prices have gone up by 2 or 3  pounds though. I found a basic vest (again for £1) which are always handy and was also tempted by the novelty of some bobbles. But, in my defence, 2 of my bobbles have snapped in the last week so I do need some more.

By this point I was really feeling the bargains vibe and I had to continue. I went to this huge (for UK standards) charity shop which I usually forget to visit because it's a bit out of the middle of town.
I got a silky topshop blouse which is a bit cropped so I thought it would look good with high waisted jeans/trousers.

I also found a Barbie pencil tin (which I'm pretty sure I have actually owned before circa 1998) and a mini purse/bag which screams #pocahontas vibes.

Total price at the charity shop for blouse, tin and bag was just £3.

 Thanks for reading! Xx

Thoughts on: Shpock (boot sale app

Shpock is the self named 'boot sale app'. It's a bit like gumtree but with less stolen items or fakes.
When you list an item it automatically registers where you are and lists the item as being in that location. Other users can then search for stuff they want and thw results are ordered in terms of what is closest to their location.
Most of the time people collect the stuff directly from you which makes it great for selling larger items like furniture. This means you get paid in cash.
Occasionally someone will ask if you would post an item (which I do if it's something small like clothes) and they pay you via PayPal.
It is really quick to list items!
I have shifted loads of stuff on it some getting it last autumn.
Best advantage: because people are collecting from your house there's almost no effort involved on your part and being paid cash means you can sell stuff for £1 and get £1 rather than ending up with 10p once platforms have taken their cut.
Worst disadvantage: because your phone registers where you are when you list an item you have to be at home when you list and can't do it on the go or while bored at a friend's house.
I would completely recommend this app. It's so easy to use and has lots of users which means lots of potential customers!
Enjoy!

Summer goals

My only summer goal this year is to pass my driving test (or get as near to ready as I can). I'm not going on holiday this year so I'm going to spend as much time as I can driving or learning/practising for the theory test.
Theory test is booked for 3 weeks time.
If I pass it first time I'm hoping I can  use the 2 weeks after that to complete an intensive driving course. I'm also doing lessons leading up to the theory test for experience.
I want it done by the end of the summer holidays as I won't have the motivation to do any lessons after work once term starts again in September...
Wish me luck!
