Chunky t-shirt

Hi! I've been in uni for most of today, then I went to the vintage fair afterwards (I'll show pictures of what I got in my next post). It hasn't been too cold today, and I was pleased I didn't have to wear a proper coat. I'm also wearing one of my new tops that I got at Salvation Army yesterday, I'll do a post of everything I bought there soon, because I got so much and it's fab!
Fred Perry jacket - thrifted - £10.99
Stripey t-shirt - thrifted - £1.50
Jeggings - ebay - approx £3
Jelly sandals - Juju Jellies
Gold chain - church sale

I'm so pleased I bought this Fred Perry jacket, I wasn't sure at the time if I wanted to spend that much money but I've been wearing it so much! I also love my new top and it was such a bargain :)

FUZZY/WOOL T-SHIRT
This top is literally the best AND it was only £1.50! I got it from the salation army shop which is now my favourite. They even gave me a loyalty card. The top is a chunky velvety kind of wool, it's hard to explain. It's so soft to wear and really cosy too.
My Gran gave me the gold chain, she got it ages ago at a church sale.

My jeggings are Topshop, but I got them off eBay last summer for about £3. They're really comfy and tbf to Topshop they are actually good quality for once. I love the colour of them too.
My sandals are Juju Jellies brand. They're the see through glittery ones, without a chunky heel.

Thanks for reading, hope everyone's enjoying the start of Autumn :) x

Today I dressed a bit wrong for the weather, I was definitely too hot this morning /:

Cardigan - vintage fair
Dress - Oxfam boutique
Knitted leggings - Primark
Jelly sandals - Juju Jellies (website)

I got this dress at the Oxfam boutique in Durham. It's recycled from a man's shirt (the skirt bit is anyway). It's really cute and the gold buttons have little anchors on them. Plus the pocket is the perfect size for a phone.

This is my Joan Smith cardigan.I got it from the Newcastle vintage fair. It's brown dog tooth check.

Knitted leggings are perfect for Autumn, even if it was too hot for them today. Also JELLY SANDALS. That is all.

Freshers Fayre - BEST BITS

Hi!
Yesterday was the freshers fayre at uni, and I got so much free stuff I thought I'd show you some of the best bits. Obvi I had to wade through loads of flyers to get these snazzy prizes, though.
SPACE RAIDERS
Everyone loves free crisps, right! I also got loads of little sweets like lollies and miniature heroes and stuff but I'm ashamed to say I ate most of them as soon as I got home.

GEEK GLASSES
They even have a little bandage to hold them together, I think that's a cute touch.

SMIRNOFF SWEAT BAND
Perfect for when you've got the alcohol sweats. This'll probably come in handy for fancy dress or something at some point.

TANGO IPHONE CASE
This is so cute, it's a silicone one and it's so bright!

SOUTHERN COMFORT NECKLACE
Cute bead necklace with Southern Comfort charms, I'll probably add this to some sort of costume too.

BANANA
A guy in a gorilla suit actually gave this to me! I didn't even see him do it to anyone else, he just came up to me doing his gorilla acting, and wouldn't let me leave without taking a banana. Bonus- it had a minion sticker on it.

SMIRNOFF PAINT TIN
This will come in handy as a pen pot if my landlord ever gets me a desk, or I could use it as my copper tin.

T-SHIRTS
I got 2 free t-shirts! It's handy to have stuff like this just for pyjamas, lazy days, or wearing under jumpers as a layer.

BEST THING EVER
I also got a wristband that let me get a FREE chicken burger and chips from this take-away place in town. The chicken from there is so nice! It's where I get my chicken box from after a night out. Me and Tom got our free food for lunch, but sadly I don't have a picture because we both scoffed it as soon as we got in. Nothing beats FREE food and a bit of criminal minds :)

I also won a free pass to Dirty Pop which is a night out at O2 in Newcastle :)

Dungarees - outfit post

Hi! Today me and Tom went to the freshers fair at uni to get loads of free stuff. I got so much! Some of it's pretty decent as well. Tomorrow I'll make a post to show you the best things I got. I haven't had time today because I've been at work.
Here is my outfit for today:
Dungarees - Rebel Rebel
Jumper - Vintage fair
Jelly Sandals - Juju Jellies (website)

Dungarees - approx £20
I got these dungarees a couple of years ago. They're quite a light coloured denim and are made of a slightly stretchy material which makes them comfy. I sewed the lace patch on myself. There was a mini pocket on top of the bigger pocket and I covered this with a piece of lace. Dungarees are so cute at the moment. I also have a denim pinafore dress with dungaree clips on the straps, but I have to keep stopping myself from buying more of the same thing!

Vintage pastel jumper - £10
This jumper was from Newcastle vintage fair. I had been looking for a cute pastel vintage jumper for ages and I thought this one was a really good price. I love the ones you see on tumblr and stuff that are all pastel colours and have a row of cats or something across the chest. Wearing a jumper helped make this outfit a bit warmer; it's been very drizzly here today but I still felt the need to wear shorts. Face/Palm.

Jelly Sandals
The only difference with my jelly sandals today is that my socks have a white toe, instead of being an all black pair. They also have a cute bit of glitter at the top so they matched my sandals!

Watch - Hand me down
I accessorised with my chunky silver rolex-style watch. Sorry this picture isn't very clear /: This watch used to be my Mum's but she was getting rid of it, so I got to keep it. It doesn't tell the right time anymore but I don't care, most of my watches don't anyway.

PuddyCat - outfit post

I was in uni this morning, and spent the rest of the day hanging around, I watched Mulan with my flat mates. That's one of my favorite Disney films. Other exciting moments have included: the trauma of cutting raw chicken and "the boilers broke, oh wait, it's fixed again".
T-shirt - Last Exit To Nowhere (website)
Skirt - H&M
Jelly sandals - Juju Jellies (website)
Bag - Thrifted

This top is from the coolest website, I found out about it through my Mum's boyfriend. It's called Last Exit To Nowhere and it sells clothes with logos on them from brands/businesses that are in films and books. That was an awful explanation. But for example my t-shirt is 'Atticus Finch, Attorney at Law' which is referencing 'To Kill a Mockingbird'. Atticus Finch is the dad in the book and he is a lawyer, so if it was real there would be a business with this name. There are tops for so many different films, it's worth a look. You'll probably only know what they are if you already know the film. Last Exit To Nowhere - shop.

My cat face skirt is from H&M and it's perfect. I got it this summer, so it might still be available in the shops, I'm not sure. It was about £14.99.  I love skater skirts, I need to get more, they're just the best shape ever! My bag is thrifted, and I'll show some more pictures of it later.

I discovered the other day that I didn't own a single pair of black tights, they had all slowly developed holes and gone to that great sock drawer in the sky. These tights are from Primark, they're the super cheap ones that you get in a pack of 3 and they say like 'oops, spare pair of tights' on the packet. They're also super thin, probably about 2 Denier or something. I'm not even going to say anything about my jelly sandals this time, people will be getting so sick of them. They're juju jellies, that's it.

Here's a close up of  my new bag. How cute is the catch! Love love love and only £3.99! It goes everywhere with me now.

House party- outfit post

Last night I went to a group of my friends' house warming party. I find it really difficult to dress for house parties, I never know how dressed up people are going to be.
I decided to get a bit more dressed up than what I'd wear during the day to go to uni and stuff, but not as dressed up as if we were going out-out.
Black long sleeved leotard - Lipsy
Cat skirt - H&M
Glitter jelly sandals - Juju jellies (website)
Pink bandanna - Kazbat's Den

I love this skirt so much! It's got cat faces all over it. My Nanny bought me it from H&M this summer, I think it was £14.99. It's a skater skirt, and has a zip at the back. It's such a cute shape, the length is just perfect for me.
My top is actually a leotard. It's a Lipsy one and has 3/4 length sleeves. I love wearing this under high waisted skirts and shorts, because it stays smooth and doesn't get rumpled up the way a top sometimes does when you've tucked it into your waistband. I'm not a millionaire though, I got it in the sale section on ASOS, it only cost about £10.

Once again I'm wearing my jelly sandals. I'm sorry that these are the only shoes I ever seem to wear. They look so cute with black socks though! My anklets are from various holidays and places.

Ha Ha! How weird is my face, but I tried a different hairstyle for tonight, and wore a bandanna which I haven't done in ages. I brushed the top layer of my fringe and hair back, and tied it in a small ponytail. Then i put the bandanna on, but without any wisps of hair at the front. I don't usually have all my hair pushed back but I actually liked it.

Vintage Fred Perry zip up - Thrifted - £10.99
I was worried it might be cold at the other house, and also I knew we were going on a mission to Tesco's after the party so I wore my new Fred Perry jacket. I know it doesn't particularly go with this outfit but I was just excited at new clothes.

After the party we went to a new Tesco that's opened near us, it's sooo big! It actually has a whole gym inside it! It was like midnight when we went so it was really empty. I got these cute puzzle watches for £1. They were from the party bag section for kids. I have really little wrists so luckily they fit me, but I can't decide which one is my favourite! There's a cow, lion, pink dog, and tiger.
I also got cheese balls, potato sticks, and another Christmas present for my Mum. I just keep finding things that I think she'll like! She's gonna end up with so many presents and no one else will have anything /:
Has anyone ever tried potato sticks? You get them in the crisps ailse in a share sized bag (next to share bags of onion rings, cheese balls, bacon rashers, etc). They are the nicest things! I know you can definitely get them in Tesco and Morrisons. They are like tiny and thin so you get millions in a packet. Anyone potato stick rant over :')

Charity shop buys

Hi, here is the post for the things that I bought at the charity shops yesterday.
I looked in 3 or 4 shops, but I only bought things in Oxfam. It annoys me how expensive some charity shops are getting. I don't mind giving charities money, because it's for a good cause. But I do mind being asked to pay £3-£5 for a USED primark vest which was probably only £3 maximum when it was new.

Instagram gives me massively inflated expectations of the treasures that I will find, and the penny prices that they'll cost :(

However, I decided to buy a few things from Oxfam because my wanting them overcame my not wanting to pay the prices.

Vintage Fred Perry - £10.99
The first thing I found was this vintage fred perry zip up. It has the loral leaf up the arms. It was still more money than I wanted to pay in a charity shop but I thought because it was an expensive brand and vintage I could make an exception. This was in the man's section and is a size large, but will be perfect for layering over other things. Plus I like hoodies and cardigans to be baggy :)

Cream leather bag - £3.99

I got this satchel style bag, which has one of those hand-carrying handles on the top. The brand is Marc Chantal which I've looked up a bit, but I'm not sure how much this bag would have cost new. It's real leather though. It has lots of compartments inside which I like, and the fastening is so cute. You have to spin the catch through the hole. The leather is basket weave on the top flap, and the rest is patchwork.

I also bought a book for my Mum for Christmas, but I don't have a photo of that, sorry.
